Medivation, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company with small molecule drugs in clinical development to treat three large, unmet medical needs—Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease and hormone-refractory prostate cancer. Our lead product candidate, Dimebon™, has successfully completed the first of two pivotal trials required to seek marketing approval in the United States for mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease. We plan to begin our second, confirmatory pivotal Phase 3 Alzheimer’s disease trial in the second quarter of 2008. We are also studying Dimebon in an ongoing Phase 2 clinical trial in patients with mild-to-moderate Huntington’s disease. Our proprietary compound MDV3100 is currently in a Phase 1-2 clinical trial in approximately 100 patients with hormone-refractory prostate cancer.
