Medivation, in collaboration with Astellas, has completed a Phase 3 clinical trial of MDV3100 in men with advanced prostate cancer who were previously treated with docetaxel-based chemotherapy and is conducting a Phase 3 trial in men with advanced prostate cancer who have not yet received chemotherapy, a Phase 2 trial comparing MDV3100 with bicalutamide in men who have progressed while on LHRH therapy or following surgical castration, and a Phase 2 trial in hormone-naïve patients.
