Reports To: Sr. Director, Marketing and Commercial Development
Work with the Commercial organization to execute the branding, positioning and launch strategy of Dimebon™, currently in Phase 3 development for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Phase 2 development in Huntington’s disease (HD). This position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and Commercial Development.
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage clinical trial awareness program for AD and HD
- Manage Congress presence for both AD and HD
- Manage relationship with advertising agency
- Manage website development
- Determine packaging design for product launch
- Analyze and track competitors
- Implement a varied array of marketing projects and tactics
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Neurology therapeutic area marketing experience a plus
- Minimum cumulative 3 years’ marketing experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology; additional healthcare company experience a plus (i.e. sales, finance, medical affairs, corporate accounts, etc.)
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills, decision-making capabilities and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Adaptable to changing roles/responsibilities required in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional team members
