Kim D. Blickenstaff- Chairman

President and Chief Executive Officer
Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc.

Mr. Blickenstaff has served as the president and chief executive officer of Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc., a privately held medical device company, since 2007. Prior to joining Tandem, Mr. Blickenstaff served as president, chief executive officer and co-founder of Biosite Incorporated. In addition, he has held various positions in finance, operations, research management, sales management, strategic planning and marketing with Baxter Travenol, National Health Laboratories and Hybritech Incorporated. He also serves as a director of several privately-held medical products companies. Mr. Blickenstaff received a B.A. from Loyola Marymount College and an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business, Loyola University, Chicago.

Daniel D. Adams

President and Chief Executive Officer
Protein Sciences Corporation

Mr. Adams has been the president and chief executive officer of Protein Sciences Corporation, a biopharmaceutical service company, since 1995. He has founded a number of life sciences companies, including Biogen, where he served as the first chief executive officer. Mr. Adams holds a B.A. degree in chemistry from Cornell University and a J.D. magna cum laude from New York University School of Law.

Gregory H. Bailey, M.D.

Managing Partner
Palantir Group, Inc.

Dr. Bailey has been managing partner of Palantir Group, Inc., a biotechnology merchant bank, since 2007. He was managing director of investment banking at MDB Capital Group from 2004 to 2007, and a life sciences analyst at Participating Capital from 1995 to 2004. Dr. Bailey holds an M.D. degree from the University of Western Ontario.

David Hung, M.D.

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Hung served as president, chief executive officer and director of Medivation Neurology since its inception in September 2003.  He became president and chief executive officer of Medivation, Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors when the Company acquired its subsidiary Medivation Neurology, Inc. in December 2004.  From 1998 to 2001, Dr. Hung served as chief scientific officer (1998-1999) and as president, chief executive officer and director (1999-2001) of ProDuct Health, Inc., a privately-held medical device company focused on breast cancer cytological diagnostics.  ProDuct Health, Inc was acquired in 2001 by Cytyc Corporation for $167 million after having spent only approximately $22 million in total development costs. From 1996 to 1998, Dr. Hung served in various senior positions at Chiron Corporation, most recently as vice president of lead discovery and development and vice president of new projects. Dr. Hung received an M.D. Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, and an A.B. summa cum laude in biology from Harvard College.

W. Anthony Vernon

Executive Vice President and President, Kraft Foods North America

Mr. Vernon has nearly 25 years of experience serving in senior executive positions at various Johnson & Johnson companies, including company group chairman of DePuy Orthopedics, Inc. (2004-2005), president of Centocor, Inc. (2001-2004), president of McNeil Consumer Healthcare (1999-2001), and president worldwide of the Johnson & Johnson Merck Joint Venture. Mr. Vernon received a B.A. from Lawrence University and an M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
